My Friend's Feedback regarding my website

My friend has given me the feedback of my website being well structured, good amount of products, having a trendy customization. He tested all the functions like  the live chat, email subscription and more. Everything is working fine. The expression he gave after looking at my home page was a good smile which made me feel that my work hard has paid off. He was impress from the coupon promotion which I have added in for my products and he thinks customers will be willing to buy from my website if i ever make it licensed. Wix.com is very useful website builder. It is my first one and even though I have not tested other website builders ever in my life I still made it through all the layouts and makings without any serious problem. Gladly I will make another website in Wix if i ever do for a actual commercial website for online business like an online store or online service.

Live chat functionality, Search bar, Email subscription, Support page email

Screenshot of my website live chat notification Today in class I tried to message myself in live chat. It is a success factor that my  live chat is functional. Similar to my live chat my email subscription is also working correctly as well as my support page email. The search bar is also working well but the issue is that my search bar is the free version and to get all the content in the search bar to work exactly as it is I have to pay for it. The free version limited to an extent and it is working exactly it should be accordingly. Everything I have tested my self and also by my friend Asim in my class, and it is working perfectly.

Customers are always looking out for discounts and prizes. I have set up a code code which is limited to 50 use. It is specially for black friday sale which is very popular and a lot of customers will be looking out for products around the internet. The screenshot of my coupon code setting up is showing you the name of the code, discount percent and if I wanted to set up a validation date i could have which i have not. The limit of use I set up is 50 which means 50 customers will be lucky if they know the coupon code and after 50 uses the code will be no longer valid. This will boost my e-commerce business in profit margin and also in popularity. 

Evaluation of my e-commerce website Ded2Tech

The purpose of my website stands as a online store for selling technology equipments, games, console, desktop, laptop, accessories to customers. I am satisfied of the completion of my website before the submission final date. And everything working perfectly technically. For e.g. the search bar, link buttons, payment options, live chat and etc. The font size of all the content in each of the page is looking good. The content is academic. The support from my tutor Zoya has been one of the biggest help in my achievement. As well as the feedback from my fellow classmates also helped me in improving many things. Product Quantity in my website

The number of total products in my website is 25. My product is the main page and it has 5 sub-page: Accessories, Console, Desktop, Games, Laptop. I have categorised all the 25 products into the 5 sub-page. Accessories page consist of 6 products,  Console has 5 products, Desktop has 5 products, Games has 4 products, Laptop has 5 products. This is the total number of products with the categorising. Below you will be able to find the screenshots of all the pages. Total is 6 page. Website Structure

My website main page title order from left to right. I changed the position of Product with About. Since customers more likely want to look at products after coming into the website homepage. This has been common with my competitors website homepage who is 'Razer' or the website address is Razer.com. Organising the structure of your website is vital. Since customers might skip content if it is not properly kept infront of them. Below are the screen shots of the structure of my web page as well as one screenshot is my competitor website homepage. Adjustment of Font size to properly understand content

Screenshot of my website homepage in wix Mobile Version from wix.com I adjusted the size of the title name of my website homepage 'Ded2tech' in the mobile version. The problem was the whole name was split up and 'Tech' was underneath 'Ded2'. The font size was 66 which i changed to 42 to re-scale it into fitting in the gap and now my customers will be available to see the name as a single word. This testing was done from my mobile phone , device name: Samsung S8 plus. This is one of the many adjustments I did in the mobile version. Also there were problem in the product feature section where the icon and description was not properly structured which i fixed later on. Tesing my Website Statistics on two sites

    Screenshot : Pingdom Website Speed Test My test 1 was on the pingdom  website speed test and the result has been promising. The performance grade is B standing at 80 points. Website loading time is 2.01 seconds. My website is 70% faster than the similar sites of people who have tested on this website. One thing to know is that pingdom is a very popular website testing site and it is good to know it is quiet faster then those many tested sites. The size of my website is considerable having a 4.2 MB size. The request is 196. So one thing I had trouble was that with the testing destination which I had to choose a country other than UK because the free test which I did has a limited selection of destination. P.S. The template of my website is already developed by Wix(Wix.com) . I just did my own customization on that template and added my content thoroughly. FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions Page I have added a new sub-page in Support named ' FAQ' or Frequently Asked Question. The purpose of this page is to post few answers for the customers so that they can take a quick look for solution. It is very important to provide this page in your website since many new customers face common problems which they can just take a look at FAQ and get the solution without the need of waiting for a answer on live chat or email. On my FAQ page i have written 5 questions with their appropriate answers. For example - 'How can I cancel my order'  this question will be asked by few customers which I know they will hopefully get the correct way to solve their problems. I would also like to update my FAQ time to time. The questions I will update will be relevant to the ones I am most asked on my support email. Security of my Website, Payment Security

Website Security - My website is secured and to finalize this my customers will be able to look at the 'https' and 'Secured' in their search address bar. So 'Secure' means the security you set up for your website and after properly checking every settings in security the website will be Secured  on the eyes of WWW(World Wide Web). And 'https' the  ' s ' at the end of ' http ' stands for secured also. Showing my website is secured in every way. Keeping my customers safety is my first priority. Payment security - My customers are secured in their payment check out with Paypal, Visa Debit/Credit. I have added a 'Buy Now' from Add Apps for an alternative payment method for my customer's convenience. It is very secured and protected my PayPal itself. New Social Link update & Adjusting the footer of my website

1) Adding new Social Link - Facebook to my footer and also customising my website facebook page: I have created my website facebook page and also linked in into the social tab of my website with the blogger, google+. My aim for creating the facebook page of my website is solely for marketing and a place for discussion. Facebook offer me the wide range of customers who I will be attracting and even discussion for their needs as a type of forum. ABOUT US page and SUPPORT page of my website

Above is the screenshot of my About US page or About Ded2Tech. About US is one of the most important pages of a e-commerce website. Even though it is a online store, online service, fashion house or vice versa. I have set up the information on two points. First one is regarding my establishment and the second is the importance of Ded2Tech. Below this two information is three comments which is done by different customers and then a shop now button linking to my products. The reason for the button is after someone reading my about us then he might want to shop so i just  gave an easy access to my product page. First of all i will go through the Desktop version of my website homepage. Firstly I added my website name has a header and then a sub-header which is letting the visitor know what my website is about. Apply Graphs to my database spreadsheet

    Graph of two kinds: Left side is a Bar Chart and Right side is a Line Chart      Pie Chart showing expenses with total and percentage     Pie Chart showing total expenses Applying graphs to my database has made it easier for me to visualise the data elaborately. I have applied 3 different kinds of graph to my database. One is a pie chart, then a bar chart and at last a line chart. Out of the 3 kinds of graph I find pie chart to be the most compatible for me to use more often because it is much easier to understand the information and keeps it tidy. I customised my  bar chart also as well as my line chart to easier demonstrate the information I need. Using legends in your graph is also very handy since it will work has a keyword to navigate through the whole graph. Applying Formula to a spreadsheet

I have successfully created a formula spreadsheet of my annual expenses. To do so I input the database of my annual expenses then applied a selected table of my choice. Now the next step to this table is applying formula to a particular cell which is in the screenshot as you can see, I have selected the cell B18 and applied a formula ' =SUM(B5:B16) ' . The result of applying this formula into that cell has given me the total value from the cell B5 till B16.  The SUM formula shows the total of the row selected.

Problem solving database formating

This is an example of a formatting issue. This happened because applying the alignment option while I filtered the database from a particular column and the alignment function was applied only to the customer data which was filtered out and after deselecting the filters which brought back the full database it resulted into exactly as the above screenshot. So to fix this problem, I had to select the full database again and apply the required alignment. The resulted database after the success of applying the alignment format is being shown at the below screenshot. You can also customise the fonts using the font format, by selecting a particular cell. The use of doing it is to write a title of your database as you can see from the one I created it has a title named 'Customer Database' which I have successfully done using the font format and to do this I had to add a new row and format the whole Row using the merge and centre. Applying filters and it's benefits

So from the process of my filtering of cities I have found out the customers living specifically in Bangladesh, out of the 30 customers in my database. Benefits of applying filter: Saves time from trying to search from a larger database. Converting Database Spreadsheet into Tabular Database Spreadsheet

The process of converting a database to a table format is simple: ^From the above screenshot you can see all the different types of layout available to choose from. So after finishing your database you will click 'Format as table' and select one of your choice and it will be applied immediately.
