My discussion on this post is regarding my homepage. I have customized my homepage in a lot of ways. First of all i will go through the Desktop version of my website homepage. Firstly I added my website name has a header and then a sub-header which is letting the visitor know what my website is about. There are 4 titles on the right side (Home, About US, Products, Support, Checkout Cart) which I have made the main Page and then under Products i have sub-pages (Desktop, Laptop, Accessories, Console, Game) and then under Support there is FAQs(Frequently Asked Questions). The checkout cart is in a bag symbol. There is a search bar which is fully functional and I have tested it by searching different items in my web page.
So far I have explained my footer. Now is the time for the body of the homepage where the first part consist of 1 slider having just 1 slide which I customized personally to have the option of going in Product page. This will get an attention of my customers in looking at my products. The next part is four pictures showing 4 different items. Then a slider having 4 slides which have buttons linked to four different sub-page ( Desktop, Laptop, Accessories, Console ).
Then on the next bit I have added Product features which has 4 features described. Then at last I added a feature from the Add App section of Wix, which is letting the customers to subscribe to my website for future updates and news to keep them up to date.
Now I will explain a bit of the mobile version homepage which I have also customized a bit. The customization mainly is about keeping things in right order on the mobile screen itself. I will share few screenshots of the options I have adjusted. The option to switch from Desktop version to Mobile version is on the top right side. Below are the screenshots of my mobile version customization and it is very important since anyone accessing from mobile will face difficulties on understanding content of your website. If there is any misplace comparing to your desktop version then he might fall into confusion.
There is few applications also you can notice on my website. First is on the bottom left which is a live chat tab. This is also another feature same as the email subscriber which is situated at the bottom. I selected it from the Add App section. This live chat will answer customers the basic inquiries they have for us. If it cannot answer the question then it will give the customer the option to give their email with their question which will be forwarded to my email for answering. The next one is on the bottom right corner. This is called McAfee security application which provides customer the information they need and that is if the web page is secured or not. At the top left side there is a visitor counter application which will the count the number of visit to the website. This will give new visitor the comfort of my website being visited so many times by other. Then at last there are two icons with G+ and Blog, which is located at the footer of my home page, this is linked on to my google+ and the other one to my blog. If anyone need to check it has reference they can. I have also changed the default trademark date and name to 2018 Ded2Tech.
This is all about my homepage and i will post more regarding my other customization done and features added to the other pages.
