My product database in my website :
Currently in my website I have added 3 products which is under the products category. I have set few categories for the products to be classified:Desktop, Laptop, Accessories, Console, Games. PS4 Pro is under Accessories, Dell Inspiron 5675 gaming desktop is under Desktop and a Macbook Air under the Laptop category. At the moment I have stocked 10 quantities of the Dell inspiron and Macbook and the PS4 Pro will be ordered accordingly to the required demand. In the near future I will be adding more products along the ones I have. Prices of my products are interesting in terms of offers which I have given for the customers. It is important to think about what the customers will be demanding for them. My customer needs, what they desire in their checklist.
A product database is very important for a business. It helps to keep record of the quantity of the products, without a database of the products since businesses have a lot of products to manage at times it will be get really messy. It is required to manage every products to be kept in order for example, books in the library without shelves will be all unorganised and as same as the shelves in the library a product database is the shelve for the business to keep their products in order. It will also have information stored like a website bookmark having history which we can later scroll upon, where a product database can have all the past product information which a business can later go around to decide for the near future ones.
As I am currently developing my product database and which is why it is looking quiet empty. I have a target of at least 10 products in total. And i will separate them from each other to their corresponding category.
Good work, this shows your understanding of product databases, please continue to record your progress on building your databases on your Digital Notebook.
